It is hard to believe that one year ago today that I came home with my PICC Line. I remember the days and months leading up to that moment clearly.
Every once in a while, I remember the "taste" and "smell" of saline, heparin and Vitamin C.
Tomorrow morning I will be going on a road trip with my mom. We're leaving for a memorial service honoring the life of my Great Aunt. I won't be back until Sunday afternoon/evening.

My husband has one of those pretty things still...it is his third...we have been in IV's for 19 months...I say we cause I drive him twice a day...we can't wait till we have killed all the bugs! Which BTW- I added a new shirt to the cafepress.com/lymiesunite store. It is a black one...says - Ignorance is a choice, Lyme Disease is Not!... :)
